Whenever Rosalía releases new music, she tends to stay more connected with her fans and, as a result, more active on social media. She’s been doing that recently through her Instagram photo dumps, where the Motomami artist shares random pictures that give a glimpse into her daily life or important events (like her super-viral birthday party). However, this time, things were a bit different.
On October 2, Rosalía surprised everyone with a new photo carousel where a significant detail about her past relationship with reggaeton artist Rauw Alejandro was clearly visible: a tattoo of his name, «Raúl,» located near her left rib, close to her heart.
Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro began their relationship in 2019 after meeting in person at a hotel in Las Vegas during the Latin Grammys, feeling an instant connection, which eventually led to working together. After months of rumors and speculation, they went public with their relationship in September 2021 through an adorable TikTok video where they drew a heart. They made their first public appearance as a couple at the LOS40 Music Awards in 2021.

The Breakup Between Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro
Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro’s breakup was announced in July 2023, shocking many fans. The news was first reported by People magazine, which revealed that the couple had decided to end their three-year relationship. Both artists took to social media to confirm the split and dispel rumors of infidelity. Rauw issued a statement explaining that the breakup wasn’t caused by third parties or cheating, but rather by issues within the relationship.
In his message, he expressed his respect and admiration for the Spanish singer, asking his followers to respect their privacy during this difficult time. Some social media profiles suggest that showing the tattoo of Rauw Alejandro might be related to the rumored breakup between Rosalía and Jeremy Allen White, after the The Bear actor was seen kissing his co-star Molly Gordon on Rosalía’s birthday.
Rosalía and Jeremy were firs t seen together a year ago, in October 2023, walking through a farmer’s market. They were spotted again in November, and in January 2024, their first kiss was photographed. Although they were recently seen together at the 2024 Paris Olympics, they have never spoken publicly about their relationship or confirmed it.
