The Meaning of ‘Omega’ for Rosalía

Rosalía has explained what Omega means to her. In the official statement that came with the song’s press release, she said: “Omega represents the end. It’s the celebration of finally finding what you’ve been searching for, and the certainty in love that makes you not want to be anywhere else.”

This idea is beautifully brought to life by Stillz, the director of the music video. He places the two artists on a roller coaster, symbolizing how ‘Omega,’ much like the ride, has no end because it loops back. When it finishes, it starts again—serving as a lovely metaphor for love.

Rosalía and Her Collaboration with Ralphie Choo

Rosalía discovered Ralphie Choo’s music through his album Supernova, and she quickly realized how much they shared creatively. “Working with Ralphie has been a real pleasure—he’s full of energy in the studio. Before we even started working on our track, we sent each other a lot of songs because we’re both such music lovers. I soon realized our musical tastes were very similar. My intuition told me we’d get along great in the studio, and that’s exactly what happened!” Rosalía explained.

She also recalled what it was like filming with him on the roller coaster: “I remember us laughing a lot, both while writing the song and during the video shoot. Honestly, if Ralphie called me tomorrow, I’d happily spend the afternoon at an amusement park with him again. I’m really grateful for the chance to collaborate with someone like Ralphie and witness his passion and incredible talent in music.”
