‘Beso’ Hits Global No.1 on Lista Los40

Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro have made history together with ‘Beso‘. The first single from ‘RR’, their three-song EP collaboration, has achieved the Global No.1 spot on our chart, Lista LOS40, marking the first time a couple of artists has reached this milestone. And it’s true, there are few things that love cannot achieve!

The song surprised the world last March with its beautiful lyrics, energy, a catchy chorus that gets stuck in your head. Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro revealed that ‘Beso‘ is about the beginning of their relationship. The couple puts into words those crazy desires to see each other all the time and that constant fear of separation, despite having a long-distance relationship due to their busy schedules.

But the lyrics weren’t the only surprise of ‘Beso‘. The song’s release was accompanied by a music video that left their fans speechless. Not only because of the numerous kisses they share in front of the camera, but also for the surprising announcement at the end: the couple is engaged!

As the song comes to an end, Rosalía appears in tears with a huge wedding ring, making it clear that Rauw has proposed to her. It’s a perfect ending to this fairytale song that the couple has gifted us with.

Rosalía’s Second Global No.1

Rauw Alejandro has just achieved his first Global No.1 on LOS40. Meanwhile, this is Rosalía’s second time hitting this milestone. She first topped the Global charts with ‘Despechá’ in September of 2023.

A Very Special Concert

It’s no secret that Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro radiate chemistry when they take the stage. Their live performance of ‘Beso‘ at the Hiram Bithorn Stadium in Puerto Rico during the Saturno World Tour left audiences speechless.

The couple also sang the song at one of the world’s biggest music festivals, Coachella, becoming one of the best performances in the music festival and sealing the show with a kiss in front of hundreds of thousands of attendees and creating a moment that has become part of pop culture.

Not many artists can boast of having reached the Global No.1 on LOS40. Among the figures who have recently achieved this distinction are names like Bizarrap, Shakira, Quevedo, Karol G, Camila Cabello, Ed Sheeran, and Alejandro Sanz.

Bad Bunny, Peso Pluma and Becky G Add New Singles to Lista Los40 in the US

As ‘Beso‘ reigns supreme at the top of our chart in the United States, Yng Lvcas and Peso Pluma maintain the second position with ‘La Bebé – Remix‘. The ‘Doble P’, a major force in the regional Mexican scene, continues to dominate the US charts with his fresh take on the genre. His latest collaboration with Becky G, ‘Chanel‘, which they performed in the 2023 Latin American Music Awards ceremony the past week, debuts on Lista Los40 this week at the #16 position.

Joining the regional Mexican boom is Bad Bunny, who teams up with Grupo Frontera on the chart-topping track ‘1 x100to‘, entering directy to the #9 spot on our list.

Rounding out this week’s entries on Lista Los40 is ‘Poco a poco‘ by Ovi, C.R.O, Lit Killah, and Aleman.
