Every day, we come across news and fresh music from artists who are making a big impact in the music industry. We’re all familiar with artists like Bad Bunny, Karol G, and Peso Pluma, but have you ever wondered about the real names of those who share their incredible talents with us?

Well, even though some of their stage names may already sound quite unique, like Shakira’s, whose full name is Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, ‘Shakira’ is, indeed, her real name. However, there are many artists whose stage names differ significantly from the names they were given at birth. How well-acquainted are you with them?

Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija 

You may have come across this name, especially given his increasing popularity this year. But for those who are still unaware, this singer of ‘corridos tumbados‘ was born on June 15, 1999, in Zapopan, Mexico. We’re referring to Peso Pluma, also recognized as ‘La Doble P.’

Carolina Giraldo Navarro 

You might not be familiar with this name, but it’s not too hard to figure out because it’s quite similar to her stage name. She was born on February 14, 1991, in Medellín, Colombia. This is the real name of the artist known as Bichota, better recognized as Karol G.

Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio 

One of the artists who has propelled Latin music to significant international prominence was born on March 10, 1994, in Puerto Rico. We all know him by the name Bad Bunny.

María Victoria Ramírez de Arellano Cardona 

Another well-known artist with a name quite different from her stage name, this young talent has brought her native Puerto Rico into the spotlight with her music. She was born on November 8, 1998, and Young Miko has delivered more than one hit in her repertoire.

Salomón Villada Hoyos 

Quite distinct from his stage name, this well-known singer and songwriter, primarily, was born on August 19, 1992, in Medellín, Colombia. Many also know him by his alternate persona, Ferxxo. Clearly, we’re discussing Feid.

Rosalía Vila Tobella

Rosalía is one of those who have chosen to use her given name for her artistic career, although it’s likely that many of us were unaware of her full name. This talented singer was born on September 25, 1992, in Barcelona, Spain.
