Christian Nodal Was Set to Marry a Colombian Singer?: What Did She Say

Christian Nodal has been making headlines since he announced his relationship with Mexican singer Ángela Aguilar. What really got people talking, though, was how soon this came after his breakup with Argentine singer Cazzu. Since then, there have been rumors that the Mexican couple might have already gotten married during their trip to Italy. However, these are just rumors, and neither of them has confirmed anything.

As we’ve seen lately, Nodal is known not only for his great talent and career in regional Mexican music but also for his love life. He got engaged to Belinda in 2020, but things didn’t work out, and they never made it to the altar. His next partner was Cazzu in 2022, the mother of his daughter. And now, he’s with Ángela Aguilar, who, according to Christian, has him completely in love. However, to add to the drama, a Colombian artist has now revealed that she had marriage plans with Nodal.

Who is She & What Did She Say? 

The Colombian show ‘Lo sé Todo’ got the chance to interview Shaira, a well-known singer from the country who became famous through ‘Factor XS.’ During the interview, Shaira revealed that some time ago she had something very special with Christian Nodal, but it was kept secret mainly because of her age. Because of this, very few people knew about their connection. 

Shaira explained that she was only 14 years old and Nodal was 18, so it was clear they couldn’t have any kind of romantic relationship. Despite this, they always stayed in touch and got along very well. She also mentioned that there was a lot of ‘chemistry’ between them.  

“When we started talking, we said we were going to get married in six years. We had great chemistry and shared a lot with each other. But he likes older people, and I also like older people, so that was the problem,” the Colombian singer recounted. She also expressed that she let the situation flow and allowed things to take their own course. And as far as we know, fate hasn’t brought them back together since then. 

However, she also made it clear that nothing happened between them; it was just an online romance despite meeting in person several times.
