Cazzu Breaks Silence After Controversy Over Ex Christian Nodal’s New Relationship

Until just a month ago, Cazzu and Christian Nodal were one of the most talked-about couples in Latin music. However, their story has followed the same path as other shocking breakups this past year, such as Rauw Alejandro and Rosalía, or Peso Pluma and Nicki Nicole.

On May 23rd, both artists confirmed via their social media that their relationship had ended. Two years during which they shared beautiful moments and a unique bond from which their daughter, Inti, was born.

«It’s time to share that Julieta (Cazzu’s real name) and I have decided to go our separate ways. Our love and mutual respect remain strong, especially in our role as parents. I am deeply grateful for the moments shared and will always cherish those memories,» Nodal wrote on his Instagram account last month.

Just a few weeks later, on June 10, Christian, alongside his current partner, Mexican singer Ángela Aguilar, confirmed in an exclusive interview with the American edition of ¡Hola! that their new relationship was official. They even made some striking statements: «It’s not about a new romance but the continuation of a story that life made us pause, so we could grow and miss each other. When we let go, we came back much closer,» they told the magazine.

However, due to all the media pressure, which has even made her name a trending topic internationally, Cazzu decided to break her silence.

«Hello. It’s very overwhelming to be in the news everywhere for something like this. I’ve always tried to avoid this side of ruthless media exposure, and now to experience it on such a large scale without doing anything to deserve so much attention, and to have my name spread everywhere, is immensely sad. But I take responsibility for my choices and also for what I can’t control. That’s why I’m sharing these words. I feel the need to let you know that I AM OKAY, getting through this in the best way possible,» the Argentine artist began.
