The first week of July is almost over and the Mexican singer, Peso Pluma, is still the leader of the LOS40 US charts! Also, Bad Bunny “Mojabi Ghost” is gaining popularity fast, so we should keep an eye on it.
This week, Peso Pluma along with Eslabon Armando, have made a strong comeback with their smash hit “Ella Baila Sola”. Even though the release of the song was more than 3 months ago, the song remains on the top five of LOS40 USA list and it’s still played on the radio all around the globe.
Let’s remember that “Ella Baila Sola” is the first regional Mexican song in history to reach the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100! And it also reached no.1 position on the Hot Latin Songs chart. So, we should be very proud of the success that these powerful and talented Latin artists are having in the United States.
Last week’s no.1, “Peso Pluma: Bzrp Music Sessions Vol. 55” moved down to the second spot. Grupo Frontera and Bad Bunny’s ‘Un x100to’ climbed up to number three, after being in fourth place last week. Rauw Alejandro – with his newest album “Playa Saturno”-, along Bizarrap «Music Sessions #56 with Rauw Alejandro« also advanced, skipping from sixth to fourth position this week.

Peso Pluma and Yng Lucas “La Bebé” fell some positions but remains at the top 5. Also, Feid and Sean Paul’s “Niña Bonita”, Eladio Carrión and Bad Bunny’s “Coco Chanel”, and Fuerza Regida’s “TQM”, are some of the songs that have dropped in the ranking.
Just a week after the release of Tainy’s debut album, «Data», it’s already making a splash on the charts. The album has 19 tracks, including “Mojabi Ghost” with Bad Bunny, a new entry on the LOS40 chart. Although it’s currently at no.32, we should keep an eye on this song because it’s hitting hard and promises to claim the first positions in the coming weeks.
Chosen as the spotlight single, the song is inspired by the 80s new wave. It captures the essence of synth-pop and electronic elements typical of the era, masterfully blended with Tainy’s deep appreciation for Japanese culture and reggaeton.
