Sadly, we’re nearing the end of summer, but you know what keeps life vibrant? Music, of course! Myke Towers is totally owning the scene on the Lista LOS40. Just last week, his hit song «LALA» rocked the second spot, and guess what? This week, it’s claimed its throne at no. 1. No doubt, it’s now the ultimate summer jam that’s been on repeat for all of us!

Our top five hits are holding strong because, let’s be real, these songs are seriously amazing! Making its move to no. 2 is the collaboration song «LADY GAGA» by Peso Pluma, Gabito Ballesteros, and Junior H. Climbing up the ranks to land at number 3 is the irresistible «Sabor Fresa» courtesy of Fuerza Régida.

Steadily securing the fourth spot is the session #56 from Rauw Alejandro and Bizarrap. And rounding out our top five is last week’s chart-topper, «El Azul,» by the dynamic duo Junior H and Peso Pluma.

This week we have a lot of new entries, including, of course, Karol G after realising the extender version of Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season), Maluma, Grupo Frontera, Natanael Cano, & more!

“OJITOS ROJOS” by Grupo Frontera & Ke Personajes At #19

Grupo Frontera has established itself as one of the most important Regional Music groups, playing a significant role in the genre’s internationalization. In their latest song, they’ve teamed up with Ke Personajes to release a touching song that strikes a balance between romance and nostalgia, exploring the theme of a broken heart.

“MI EX TENÍA RAZÓN” by KAROL G At #21

Karol, embraces a Norteño style, that has captivated her fans. Also, this new song has gone viral shortly after its release, and the reason is clear. Not only can we relate to the title (or not), but the lyrics also hold various hidden messages. And indeed, there are several hidden references to Anuel AA, the ‘Bichota’s’ ex-partner.

Their breakup has been quite dramatic. Over the past few months, the Puerto Rican singer has made headlines by sending highly toxic and sexist messages. Given all of this, it’s pretty obvious that Karol G has finally found her way to clap back at her ex. And she’s doing it with style, which is pretty important post-breakup. She’s basically agreeing by saying, «he is nothing like you, he’s way better.»

“Mi Bello ‘Ángel” by Natanael Cano At #24

The song «Mi Bello Ángel» is a cover from the band called Los Primos MX, originally released ten years ago, in 2013. The song is a duranguense style “love” ballad that incorporates a saxophone for a more romantic touch. Natanael’s version is a bit different, but with the same essence and with his own style.

“Celular” by Nicky Jam, Maluma, & The Chainsmoker At #28

The famous Colombian multi-talent, Maluma, and Nicky Jam have teamed up with the renowned New York DJs and producers, The Chainsmokers, to bring to life the melody «Celular.» This collaboration blends the styles of the four musicians, resulting in a Latin-urban piece that has given us one of the best summer songs.

“Primera Cita” by Carin León At #32

The song tells a romantic story about a forbidden love that grew so intense over time that the lovers eventually drifted apart, becoming strangers, and losing touch with each other’s current whereabouts. However, in the end, the singer expresses a desire to rekindle their connection, proposing that if they meet again, they should repeat their «first date».

The song mixes the blues and soul genre but has the Regional Mexicano deep in its roots.

“Me Liberé” by Piso 21 & Gabito Ballesteros At #37

The musical group Piso 21 has collaborated with artist Gabito Ballesteros to unveil their latest single, «Me Liberé.» This song serves as a means to cast aside heartbreak and lost love, allowing us to immerse in the unique blend of Mexican regional rhythms and reggaeton.

“Aquí te Espero” by Iván Cornejo At. #40

Iván Cornejo, a Mexican-American singer and songwriter, makes a comeback with the inaugural single of a new chapter titled «Aquí Te Espero» (Here I’ll Be Waiting). With his guitar as his companion, Cornejo passionately sings verses that delve into a love that took advantage of his love.
