His album comes at a time when Mexican Regional music is thriving and gaining popularity worldwide. He, along with artists like Peso Pluma, Eslabón Armando, and Junior H, are leading the way in this genre movement. According to Billboard, the consumption of Regional Mexican music in the United States has increased by 42.1% year-to-date as of May 25.
In addition to Natanael’s solo tracks, the album includes exciting collaborations with renowned artists such as Peso Pluma, whose songs have been dominating the charts in the U.S., Junior H, Gabito Ballesteros, Chino Pacas, Luis R Conriquez, and many more.
Among the album’s standout songs is “AMG,” the collaboration with Peso Pluma and Gabito Ballesteros that has not only made its way onto Billboard’s prestigious Hot 100 chart but also claimed the top spot in Mexico, solidifying its status as a massive hit.
According to Cano in an interview with Billboard, collaborations have played a major role in the genre’s success, not only in Mexico but also across the United States and around the world.
On the Billboard Regional Mexican Albums chart, Cano has placed four albums in the top 10, two of which reached No. 1: «Corridos Tumbados» (2019) and «A Mis 20″ (2020).
He has also achieved numerous awards throughout his career, he won a Latin American Music Award for “Amor Tumbado” in the favorite song category. Additionally, he has received multiple nominations for the Billboard Latin Music Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, Premios Juventud, Premios Lo Nuestro, and Premios Tu Música Urbano.
The album cover seems to be inspired by the 1983 movie Scarface, featuring the scene where Tony Montana encounters a blimp with the message, «The World Is Yours…». Natanael Cano took a similar approach to promote his album, using a video that includes the same airship and background music, but with the message «Nata Montana. June 30. The world is yours.»

Acording to Rolling Stone, the phrase motivates Cano to surpass himself and achieve everything he sets out to do. For him, the album is a reminder that the sky is the limit for his music career.
In another promotional video, the iconic phrase from the film «Say hello to my little friend» is heard in the background, and his face glitches into Tony Montana’s.
