As we highlighted in our last week’s Lista LOS40 USA, it serves as a precise reflection of the ongoing developments in the Latin music scene. The songs that have emerged as winners in the past weeks truly exemplify the potent influence and international reach that Mexican music is currently enjoying on a global scale.

We now refer to this genre as ‘Mexican music’ instead of ‘Regional Mexicano,’ a distinction emphasized by Carín Leon’s enlightening lesson. Regardless of the terminology, both Mexican music and reggaeton stand as an indomitable musical force, and we’re here not only to pay homage but also to celebrate this remarkable achievement.

Chart Dominators

After spending a total of ten weeks on the chart, Fuerza Regida’s «Sabor Fresa» has taken the no. 1 spot, crowning itself as this week’s winner.

This achievement comes as it surpasses last week’s first-place holder, «Lady Gaga» by Peso Pluma, Gabito Ballesteros, and Junior H, which now drops to the no. 3 position this week.

Another song that has put up quite a fight is «LALA» by Myke Towers, which has gone up and down throughout the weeks. Therefore, this week it has landed at no. 2. Notably, Myke also claims the no. 5 spot with «El Cielo», a collab with Feid and Sky Rompiendo.

Undoubtedly, reigning over the charts, we have Peso Pluma, who effortlessly takes over the no. 6 position, teaming up with Grupo Frontera for their collab song «TULUM». Additionally, their joint effort «El Azul» firmly claims the no. 9 spot, maintaining its impressive presence on the chart for a remarkable fifteen weeks.

Occupying the no. 7 position is the prodigious star who was born in Madrid, raised in Brazil, and within less than three years of his artistic career, has dominated international charts and even headlined a sold-out stadium show in Miami alongside Karol G. We’re referring to Quevedo with his track «Columbia».

At no. 8, Rauw Alejandro and Bizarrap shine with their powerful session vol. 56. Finally, at no. 10, we have the dynamic collab of Travis Scott, Bad Bunny, and The Weeknd, united for their song «K-POP».

New Entries

This week we have no new entries, but last week’s «QLONA» by Karol G and Peso Pluma, which started in the 11th position, has now climbed to the no. 4 spot.

Do you think «QLONA» will reach the top in the upcoming weeks? Which song are you hoping will make it to the podium?
