One of the most eagerly awaited musical comebacks is Rosalía’s. While her collaboration with Lisa on ‘New Woman’ was a big hit and well-received, fans have been eager for something new from her. Recently, the Spanish singer shared some exciting news by teasing her next song, a collaboration with experimental artist Ralphie Choo.

She also revealed the title, ‘OMEGA,’ with the release set for September 25. What’s even more exciting? The song officially dropped on Rosalía’s birthday. She shared on her WhatsApp channel: “OMEGAAAAAA 9/25 with Ralphie Choooo. And it’ll be my birthdaaaaay. Which officially kicks off Libra season, hehehehe.’”

Just before premiering her music video and with fireworks lighting up the night, ‘La Motomami’ wrapped up the La Mercé festivities in Barcelona, Spain, where she debuted her latest song.

What Does ‘Omega’ Mean?

The first thing that comes to mind is the meaning of the letter Omega beyond its role in the Greek alphabet. Omega represents the end of something, in contrast to Alpha, which symbolizes the beginning. In fact, one of the most well-known verses in the New Testament of the Bible mentions this: “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

‘Omega’ English Lyrics

[ROSALÍA]

You and I lost among poppies
Your eyes shine, they’re two pistols
Our tongues embrace, no longer alone
In my memory, you’ve shot me down
I don’t drink, I don’t smoke anymore
I don’t consume, and I flaunt it
You are the best
And before you, I was the worst

I’m getting sentimental
(You are my omega)
Before making you finish
(You are my omega)

[Ralphie Choo]

And the more you pull away, yeah
Everything about you reminds me of you
And the more you pull away
Everything about you reminds me
I’m from everywhere, and my crew has my back
If I’m not what I want to be, may God save me
I can be Céline Dion and a tough guy
I can be Céline Dion and a tough guy

[ROSALÍA]

I’m getting sentimental
(You are my omega)
Before making you finish
(Love me like you care, you care, you care)

Love me like—
Uh-uh-uh
Love me like—
Uh-uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh
Love me like you care, you care, you care

I give myself the freedom
(Love me like you care, you care, you care)
I’m yours without asking
(Love me like you care, you care, you care)
(Love me like you care, you care, you care)

I’ve reached the end
Where everything has begun again
You are my omega, you are my omega
I don’t think they can erase what’s been written by me
You are my omega, you are my omega
Love me like—
