News travels fast in the entertainment world—especially when it involves someone like Jennifer Lopez. Just months after her split from Ben Affleck, rumors are swirling that the singer and actress may already have a new flame: British actor Brett Goldstein.

The two reportedly met while filming Office Romance, an upcoming Netflix rom-com directed by Ol Parker. Goldstein not only stars alongside JLo, but also co-wrote and produced the film. According to insiders, their on-set chemistry was impossible to ignore, with some describing it as a “full-on flirt fest between takes.”

However, neither Lopez nor Goldstein has confirmed the relationship, but fans and tabloids are buzzing. Sources say Jennifer has appeared “happier and more confident” on set, while Brett has previously admitted that JLo was one of his longtime celebrity crushes. Even Ben Affleck seems to have weighed in—allegedly offering Goldstein a cheeky warning, hinting that dating JLo is no easy ride.

Who is Brett Goldstein?

Brett Goldstein was born on July 17, 1980, in London. He’s an actor, writer, comedian, producer, and podcaster. After studying film at the University of Warwick, he sharpened his acting skills at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.

Goldstein shot to fame playing Roy Kent—the gruff yet lovable footballer—on Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso. He didn’t just act in the show; he was also part of the writing team. His performance earned him back-to-back Emmys for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2021 and 2022.

Before Ted Lasso, Brett made a name for himself in offbeat British comedies and indie films, most notably SuperBob, a quirky superhero rom-com he wrote and starred in. Other credits include Derek, Catherine Tate’s Nan, Adult Life Skills (which earned him a Best Supporting Actor award), and a cameo as Hercules in Thor: Love and Thunder.

More recently, he co-created the Apple TV+ dramedy Shrinking, starring Jason Segel and Harrison Ford, and co-wrote and produced the 2024 sci-fi romance All of You.
