Summer is in the air and it’s starting to show on our Lista Los40 USA.

Last week we kicked off June with a bang thanks to the vibrant BZRP Music Session #55 of Peso Pluma. The uplifting debut of the Argentine producer with a corrido tumbado has shocked all his followers, reaching the global #1 spot on Spotify (which was already occupied by the Doble P, by the way).

The drop garnered great attention on social media as it was unlike anything Bizarrap had released before, since it’s his first collab with a regional Mexican artist and will surely be one of his most streamed sessions.

But that’s not all. As if having 8 songs on ourLista Los40 USA wasn’t enough for the Mexican icon of the moment, Peso Pluma also adds his emotional single ‘Bye’ to the #13 position of the chart. Its vibe is completely different from the rest of the songs on the ranking. It reminds us of his previous single ‘Por las Noches’ as it explores the end of a relationship and the feelings of pain that come with it. Moreover, the chart keeps being led by his viral ‘Ella Baila Sola’ featuring Eslabón Armado, whichs remains in the #1 position.

And long live Mexico because Carín León, a reference in regional Mexican music, joins the list with his collaboration with Colombian singer Camilo in ‘Ni Me Debes Ni Te Debo’, a track from his latest album, Colmillo de Leche that soars directly to the #27 spot.

In the song, both artists exchange verses about the act of letting go of a loved one after a breakup and rebuilding their lives by taking different paths. We must say that the representation of this vital metaphor is quite striking in the touching music video that both artists star in.

In addition to the chart-topping hits present on the Lista Los40 USA these days, during the week our favorite Latin and urban artists have blessed us with songs that we know will be summer anthems. You can fall in love with Rosalía’s ‘Tuya’, hanguear to Saiko, Quevedo, Mora, and Feid’s Polaris (Remix), or invite your crush to a slow perreo with Maluma’s ‘Coco Loco’.

And you, have you already caught up with all the musical news we bring you in Los40 USA? Stay tuned!
