Bad Bunny has announced his new studio album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, just in time for Christmas, treating his fans to a holiday surprise. The album is set to release on January 5, giving fans an early gift ahead of Three Kings Day.

The announcement came through a short video featuring Puerto Rican actor and director Jacobo Morales. In the clip, Morales reflects on his past, sharing how he wishes he had taken more photos when he was younger. Without them, some of those precious memories have faded. He’s not alone in this nostalgic moment—on the table with him is a small anthropomorphic frog, looking like a character straight out of a Beatrix Potter story.

“That’s why I love you so much,” the frog says to Morales, to which he replies, “I love you too, Concho.” This brief exchange introduces fans to the intriguing character of Concho.

The Coquí Frog: A Symbol of Puerto Rico

This isn’t just any frog. For the album, Bad Bunny has chosen the Coquí, a species native to Puerto Rico and a cultural icon of the island. The Coquí’s unique call is a hallmark of Puerto Rican nights, making it a meaningful and fitting symbol for this project.

When the director speaks to the Coquí frog, he’s really expressing his love for Puerto Rico. As with much of Bad Bunny’s music, this album looks to reconnect with his roots in a heartfelt way.

The Coquí isn’t just a symbol of his love for his homeland—it also represents music and connection. These frogs are known for their nightly songs, which they use to communicate with each other, making them a fitting symbol for the album.

Debí Tirar Más Fotos

Bad Bunny’s new album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, is set to release on January 5, but most details about it are still under wraps. What we do know is that ‘EL CLúB’ and ‘Pitorro de Coco’ (released on December 26) will be part of the album.

It’s also worth remembering that his last album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana, came out in 2024. While it didn’t reach the same massive success as Un Verano Sin Ti, it still ranked as one of the most-streamed albums of the year, proving Bad Bunny’s enduring influence in the music world.
