Bad Bunny has done it again! After dropping hints about a new project, the Puerto Rican artist has officially announced his next album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS. This will be his sixth studio album, set to release on January 5, 2025, as a special gift for Three Kings Day. It follows his 2023 album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana.

This new album promises to take listeners on a nostalgic journey. In a touching teaser video, directed and narrated by Puerto Rican filmmaker Jacobo Morales—often considered the most influential director in the island’s history—Bad Bunny reflects on the importance of living in the moment and capturing memories. Morales narrates:

“I’ve experienced so much, met amazing people, and visited many countries, but none like Puerto Rico. I wish I had taken more photos to share with you. Photos are lived moments, memories of what’s passed. I wasn’t one to take many pictures or post stories. I thought it was better to live in the moment. But as you get older, remembering isn’t as easy. I should have taken more photos, lived more, loved more when I had the chance. While we’re alive, we should love as much as we can.”

In the teaser, we catch a glimpse of what looks like the album’s main character: a toad named “Concho.” This toad, known as the sapo concho (Peltophryne lemur), is native to Puerto Rico. It’s medium-sized with a yellow-olive to dark brown coloration, making it a unique symbol for the project.

This year, Bad Bunny has shown a strong connection to his Puerto Rican roots. From his single ‘Una Velita,’ where he talks about his homeland, to his recent projects, there’s a clear sense of returning to where it all began.

How Many Songs Will DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS Have?

While Bad Bunny hasn’t confirmed the exact number of tracks, fans believe the album will include 17 songs. This theory comes from a social media post where he wrote the word “bomba” 17 times to announce the album. His recent singles, ‘EL ClúB’ and ‘PiToRRO DE COCO,’ are confirmed to be part of the album.

To celebrate the album’s announcement, Bad Bunny released ‘PiToRRO DE COCO.’ The song transports listeners straight to Puerto Rico with its jíbara-inspired rhythm and heartfelt lyrics. It explores feelings of loneliness and nostalgia that often come up during the holidays, wrapped in a catchy beat—a perfect mix of emotion and energy for both dancing and reflecting.
