The Heat Latin Music Awards took place on Thursday, July 11th, at the Hard Rock Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Our host Riva Pop from LOS40 USA covered the event in its 10th edition! This event honors leading figures in Latin music, especially those in urban and tropical genres. It showcases both established artists and rising stars who are currently leaving their mark.
For the second year in a row, Karol G was the standout winner, receiving 7 awards including Best Female Artist, Best Urban Artist, Song of the Year, Video of the Year, and Album of the Year, among others. While this year wasn’t as successful for Peso Pluma as the previous one, other notable winners of the night included Feid, Anitta, and Los Esquivel.
