Given the great success that the Regional Mexicano is having worldwide, a new festival dedicated to Mexican music, its culture and roots, will be held in Mexico City this September with an impressive lineup, including the well-known Peso Pluma, the precursor of the corridos tumbados genre, Natanael Cano, Edén Muñoz, Fuerza Regida, La Sonora Dinamita, Yahritza Y Su Esencia, La Arrolladora Banda El Limón, and much more.
The ARRE HSBC Festival will be held on September 9 and 10 in the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City and, at its very first edition, will bring together the greatest exponents of the moment –with about 45 artists–, reminding the world that Mexico is a country full of talent and rich traditions.

Mexico is not only rich in music and culture, but also in its language. The word ‘Arre’ is an expression used to urge a horse but is commonly used in an informal way in different parts of the country (mainly in the north) for expressing different things, such as agreement or acceptance.
Music festivals hold great significance worldwide, with notable events like Coachella, Glastonbury, EDC, Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, and even Knotfest leading the way. However, while these festivals cover a wide range of genres such as pop, electronic, and rock, they have overlooked the genre of Regional Mexican music, even in its home country.
While there have been occasional concerts and smaller festivals of Regional Mexican music, there hasn’t been a major event on par with Vive Latino or Corona Capital, which are considered the most important music festivals in Mexico.
We are super happy that Mexican music is everywhere, reaching the most important top charts and celebrating Latin roots! Viva México for the biggest Regional Mexican Music Festival.
