Anitta’s Message to Bad Gyal Teasing One of her Best-Kept Secrets: Possible Collaboration?

Anitta once again dazzled at the recent Latin Grammys 2023 with an outfit that left no one indifferent. It was during the rest of the week’s celebrations that the artist provided other memorable moments (after all, everything the iconic Brazilian says is gold), but not only that! She also dropped some hints about what might be coming sooner than we think.

In one of the interviews she gave, the singer revealed which Spanish artist she would award if she had her own awards ceremony (can you imagine «Anita Awards»? It would undoubtedly be an event we’d want to attend). None other than one of the leading voices in the urban scene in the country, Bad Gyal!

«I would give the award to Bad Gyal for being the hottest there is!» Anitta admitted without hesitation. The reporter seized the opportunity to delve a little deeper into their relationship and asked if a possible collaboration between Spain and Brazil was in the works. Anitta responded with laughter, visibly uncomfortable, trying to deflect the question. «She’s really chingona, and she can dance and everything!» the artist added, evading a direct answer.

This collaboration is more feasible than ever, as Bad Gyal is about to release «La Joia» (the jewel, in Catalan, her native language), her first studio album. She confirmed to a Puerto Rican media outlet, where she recently performed at the Motherland Festival, that the album will include collaborations with people from Brazil, Puerto Rico, and, of course, Spain.

Everything surrounding «La Joia» has been a mystery for months, but the artist revealed in an interview with the popular YouTuber Chante Ydrach that we have only «days» left to learn more about this highly anticipated release.
