This deliberate choice by Beyoncé and Jay-Z to keep Sir out of the public eye aligns with growing concerns over «sharenting,» a term describing parents sharing information about their children on social media.

Sharenting—the practice of parents oversharing images and details of their children online—has raised increasing concern among privacy and child safety experts. In extreme cases, photos of minors have been scraped from social media platforms and reused in inappropriate or exploitative contexts, including identity theft and AI-generated child abuse content.
