How to Vote at the 2025 American Music Awards: Complete Guide

The 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs) are fast approaching, and as always, fans are eager to vote for their favorite artists across multiple categories. If you want to make your voice heard, here’s everything you need to know about how to cast your vote for the 2025 AMAs, which will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+ on May 26, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT.

AMAs Voting Period

• Start Date: Voting opens on April 23, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. ET.
• End Date: Voting closes on May 15, 2025, at 11:59:59 p.m. PT. However, voting for Collaboration of the Year and Social Song of the Year will remain open until May 26, 2025, at 8:30 p.m. ET.

The voting process is managed by Telescope Digital Inc., and it’s crucial to vote during this period to ensure your favorite artist has a chance to win.

Voting Platforms

There are two main ways to cast your vote:

1. Billboard Website Voting

• Visit the Billboard Voting Page using a web browser on your computer, tablet, or mobile device.
• To vote, you’ll need a valid Facebook or Google account. You’ll be required to log in and accept the voting terms and conditions.
• Once on the page, expand the award category you wish to vote in. You can then select the nominee you want to support by clicking the + or – button to allocate votes. You can submit up to 25 votes per award per day via this platform.
• After submitting votes, you can continue voting for other categories or share your votes on Facebook or X (formerly Twitter).

2. Instagram Comment Voting

• You can also vote directly through Instagram. To do so, comment on the official voting posts from the AMAs Instagram account (@amas), using the Promoted Hashtags for your chosen nominee.
• Your Instagram account must be set to public, as comments from private accounts will not be counted.
• You can vote up to 25 votes per day via Instagram Comment Voting, and votes will only be counted if they appear on the official voting post.

Turbo Voting

During Turbo Voting periods, you’ll have the chance to increase your vote count:

• April 29, 2025 (12:00 a.m. PT – 11:59 p.m. PT)
• May 6, 2025 (12:00 a.m. PT – 11:59 p.m. PT)
• May 13, 2025 (12:00 a.m. PT – 11:59 p.m. PT)
• May 20, 2025 (12:00 a.m. PT – 11:59 p.m. PT) (only for Collaboration of the Year and Social Song of the Year)
• May 26, 2025 (12:00 a.m. PT – 5:30 p.m. PT) (only for Collaboration of the Year and Social Song of the Year)

During Turbo Voting, votes submitted via Billboard Website Voting will count up to 50 votes per category. Similarly, Instagram votes will be doubled, up to a total of 50 votes.

• Maximize Votes: Don’t forget to vote during Turbo Voting periods for maximum impact! Vote every day, as you can cast up to 25 votes per category per platform.
• Be Accurate: Ensure you’re using the correct Promoted Hashtags for each nominee when voting on Instagram.
• Stay Updated: Follow the AMAs on Instagram and the official AMAs website for any last-minute voting opportunities and announcements.

AMAs Voting Results

The winner of each award will be determined by the highest number of valid votes across both voting platforms. The final winners will be revealed during the live broadcast of the 2025 AMAs on CBS, starting at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT on May 26, 2025.
