Bad Bunny’s latest album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, has cemented his status as a leading figure in Latin music. Anticipation for his new album was high, and this gift to Puerto Rico has been warmly embraced by audiences worldwide.

These days, everyone is talking about his new songs, and the album’s title has even been used as a slogan for various campaigns. And with good reason—these 17 new tracks have brought nothing but success to the artist. The latest achievement involves the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Although the album didn’t reach number one on the album chart, there’s an explanation: Bad Bunny does things his own way, not following industry norms. Releasing the album mid-week meant the sales count didn’t include a full week, unlike other releases. Despite this, it debuted at number two—a remarkable feat in itself.

A New Milestone for Bad Bunny

What he did accomplish, however, was placing all 17 songs from the album on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Every track ranks between positions 27 and 95, alongside ‘Qué Pasaría…’ his collaboration with Rauw Alejandro, making a total of 18 songs among the country’s best sellers.

With 15 new songs from DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS entering the chart this week, Bad Bunny’s record of charting singles has grown from 98 to 113. This achievement surpasses artists like Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, and Elvis Presley, positioning him as the first Latin artist to cross the 100-song threshold on the chart.

It’s worth noting that out of these 113 charting songs, only one has reached number one: ‘I Like It’ with Cardi B and J Balvin.

Reaching triple-digit numbers on the charts would have been unthinkable just a few decades ago when music consumption was slower-paced. However, with the rise of streaming and an increasingly accelerated music industry, such milestones are now more attainable for a wide range of artists. Still, no Latin artist has achieved anything close to Bad Bunny’s accomplishments.
