Peso Pluma’s Angry Message in His Return to the Stages: «A Lot of Controversy, But…»

The Mexican has returned to perform at a Rolling Stone event.

It had been several weeks since we last saw Peso Pluma doing what he does best, performing his extensive catalog of corridos tumbados on stage. Well, actually, it had been weeks since we saw the Doble P in general after his scandalous breakup with Argentine artist Nicki Nicole. However, the artist returned to action this past Wednesday, March 13th.

As we previously reported at LOS40 USA, the artist has decided to resume his shows after canceling the last scheduled events in Latin America (including the Viña del Mar festival in Chile, where he was replaced by rapper Trueno), and he did so at the SXSW Festival, in collaboration with Rolling Stone, where we can also see Young Miko, Kevin Kaarl, or J Noa, among other artists.

Peso Pluma’s ‘Dart’ in His Public Comeback

Fans queued for hours at the ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin, TX, to see their idol, the Mexican Music star, and the singer of «Ella Baila Sola» didn’t disappoint them, delivering explosive performances of hits like «Quema,» «Rosa Pastel,» or «QLONA,» his collaboration with Karol G.

However, the artist didn’t want to miss the opportunity to send a somewhat angry message after weeks of headlines and controversy. Peso Pluma claimed he had returned to the stage for a reason, and that reason is his fans. He stated that he would continue making music «no matter what happens,» despite the controversy surrounding his alleged infidelity to Nicki Nicole and rumors of the corridos icon entering a rehabilitation clinic.

«We see a lot of damn controversy, a lot of damn controversy. And I’m going to tell you one thing. I’m here on this stage because of you. We, each and every one of us [points to the band that makes up Peso Pluma], continue making music for you. And as long as I’m alive and all of Peso Pluma, every member of this family, we will continue to tear down every damn stage no matter what happens, bastards. We’ll keep carrying our Mexican flag wherever we are,» shouted the interpreter of «LADY GAGA» to an excited audience.

Of course, Doble P didn’t miss the opportunity to respond and send a poisoned dart to the press. «And to the media and the press, keep talking motherf******, all your comments suck my d***,» he concluded, making his position clear regarding the media.

In short, we’re glad to see Peso Pluma back, who will be starting his Exodo Tour in the United States in a few weeks.
