The truth is that Peso Pluma isn’t going through his best moment. After the viralization of a video showing the Mexican artist with an unknown woman (who by the way wasn’t his now ex-girlfriend Nicki Nicole), and the official confirmation of his breakup with the Argentine trap star, the “Doble P” has remained in an extensive silence.
During the last days following the controversy, the Mexican has just appeared on his social media profiles to promote his latest releases and his upcoming ‘Exodo Tour’ in the United States, but, unlike Nicole, he hasn’t made comments about the recent events. Moreover, his team announced the cancellation of his concerts in Latin America these days, including his headlining show at Viña del Mar 2024. However, Peso Pluma has now decided to address some heavy rumors that have been circulating on social media.
Several media outlets like the Mexican Quien Magazine have revealed that Hassan Emilio (the real name of the artist) could have entered rehab after his complicated breakup with Nicole in St. Valentine ‘s eve. According to the media, Peso Pluma allegedly headed to a specialized center to treat addictions located in Jalisco, México. This information was first confirmed by Spanish paparazzi Jordi Martin, who played a key role to find out the infidelity in Shakira’s former marriage with soccer player Gerard Piqué.

According to Martin, it’s not the first time that the “LADY GAGA” singer enters the rehabilitation clinic, where he has been allegedly hospitalized, as the singer was reportedly there in 2023.
However, and despite keeping a low profile in the public eye, the artist has taken advantage of his social media channels to dispel rumors.
Hassan has decided to clear up possible questions following the recent news of him being hospitalized, since he uploaded an Instagram story on his personal profile where we can see him in a music studio. But what’s more striking and relevant of all of this is that it’s a photo of what seems to be a surveillance camera, where it also appears the date and local timestamp. According to the information provided in the photo, it was made on February, 27, 2024.
In the image we can see the “Doble P, ”covered with what seems to be a balaklava and glasses, which makes it difficult to see his face, but it’s clear that it’s him.

This information was first announced on the Despierta América TV show, where a video of the Doble P exiting the studio in Los Angeles this week was shown, clearing up the commented rumors about his time in rehab.
On a different note, it’s true to say that Peso Pluma has been in rehab before, but not for receiving any treatment. According to the Mexican journalist Ahtziri Cárdenas C, the director of the Mexican rehabilitation center “5 Lunas de Maluri” revealed that the artist was in the center before becoming famous, carrying out several altruistic activities with people who were there hospitalized. It was years ago, back in 2019, and only for three days due to a spiritual retreat that he signed up for out of personal interest.
