Ángela Aguilar and Christian Nodal are in the spotlight for more than just their new official relationship. Recently, the couple has faced multiple controversies. Shortly after Nodal announced his split with Cazzu, Ángela has been criticized for not being a supportive friend. It’s been noted that she was friends with all of her current boyfriend’s exes in the past, which has drawn some criticism toward her.
Besides everything mentioned earlier, a new controversy recently emerged involving the couple, albeit indirectly. It all started when a well-known piñata shop in Mexico, ‘Piñatería Ramirez,’ famous for creating piñatas based on viral topics, made two figures inspired by the popular couple.

At first, social media users found it funny and even praised the piñatas. However, unexpectedly, news spread that Ángela allegedly took offense to these piñatas depicting her and her boyfriend. This reportedly led her to consider legal action. The situation got worse after a message was posted beneath photos of the piñatas. This post sparked hundreds of comments and reactions among its followers.
However, not all comments have been good; some have stepped up to defend the singers: “They should be ashamed of this post […] Here in the United States, we’re ‘team Angela & Nodal.’”
While the piñatas gained popularity on social media, it remained uncertain whether the singer would proceed with a lawsuit. Reports from the entertainment show ‘De primera mano’ suggested that the youngest Aguilar was considering legal action.
Dalton Ramírez, owner of the piñata shop, responded promptly in an interview with N+, stating they had not received any official notice yet. “We haven’t been formally notified,” he confirmed. The business also acknowledged previous legal threats but did not elaborate further.
However, later through their official Facebook page, ‘Piñateria Ramirez’ appeared to confirm the lawsuit, as reported by other media outlets. “The lawsuit is indeed moving forward,” confirmed the business representatives.
