Love comes and goes, and when it comes to Aitana and Sebastián Yatra, no one really knows where their relationship stands. They’ve always kept their romance very private, but out of the blue, they release ‘Akureyri’ and leave everyone stunned. It’s an incredibly romantic song that couldn’t shout their love story and idyllic trip to Iceland any louder.
Since then, this song has become a fan favorite at every concert. During this summer’s ‘Alpha Tour,’ Aitana hasn’t stopped singing it and often takes the chance to say some sweet words about the Colombian singer. A few weeks ago, she clearly expressed her admiration for Yatra and how much she loved him. However, at her latest concert, it seems things have changed. We’re not exactly sure what happened, but everything points to a breakup.
“I have so much to say that I don’t even know where to start,” Aitana began on Saturday. Radiant, empowered, and with a bittersweet feeling as this tour came to an end, she took the microphone and thanked everyone for this journey. “Thank you, especially, because this has been the tour of my life. I haven’t been doing this for long, only seven years, and I’ve never felt more fulfilled, happier with all of you, or more confident in myself on stage,” she continued.
What no one expected was the introduction to the next song: “In life, we sometimes have good times, sometimes bad times, and that’s what ‘Akureyri’ is about. There are people, things, and moments in life that you experience so intensely and love so much, and everything is so incredible… but sometimes it ends, sometimes it’s over. And it’s okay, you can get up and live again in a different way, and get to know something else, and be yourself in another way,” she said, raising suspicions.

“Never let anyone tell you that nothing lasts forever, because many things can. Family is forever, friends are forever, and you will always be here…” she said, ending in tears.
