A few days ago, we shared with you the 20 promises to keep an eye on in 2024, a list ranging from global stars like Tate McRae to emerging personalities like Lara91k or the creator of the global hit «Si No Estás,» Íñigo Quintero. Now, considering the tremendous success that Latin music has experienced in recent years, we also thought it necessary to create a specific list for you to include these 10 Latino artists in your playlists this year.

Xavi

Xavi’s name has started resonating strongly since his hit «La Diabla» topped charts worldwide, including Spotify Global, Billboard Hot Latin Songs, and Latin Songwriters. The artist is part of an unprecedented boom in Mexican music, following in the footsteps of now superstars like Peso Pluma and Carín León. At just 20 years old, he has already signed with Interscope Records, becoming one of the leading names in Hispanic music.

Kali Uchis

Karly-Marina Loaiza, better known as Kali Uchis, surprised her fans by releasing an emotional music video, «Tu Corazón Es Mío / Diosa,» revealing that she is expecting a baby with singer Don Toliver. The «Telepatía» singer is releasing her highly anticipated fourth album, «Orquídeas,» on January 12, featuring collaborations with Karol G, including her iconic «Labios Mordidos,» Peso Pluma, and Rauw Alejandro. Undoubtedly, one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

Elena Rose

Elena Rose is a prominent songwriter who has contributed to creating hits for numerous artists, including Becky G, Bad Bunny, Daddy Yankee, Ozuna, Jennifer Lopez, and more. Recently, the Venezuelan artist shared heartwarming images working with Karol G at her home, hinting at what may come for both of them this year. Her latest release as a performer was in late 2023 with «CARACAS EN EL 2000,» a beautiful tribute to her homeland alongside Danny Ocean and Jerry Di. We would love to see more of her in songs this year!

Kuinvi

Valentina López, aka Kuinvi, is an Ecuadorian producer changing the game in a predominantly male-dominated world of music production. Blending pop and urban styles, her work can be appreciated in «Esquemas,» the latest album by Becky G, and collaborations with other artists like Aitana, Piso 21, Khea, Sebastián Yatra, Leo Rizzi, or Lola Índigo, among others. Her songs like «Dos Horas» and «Mykonos» have accumulated millions of streams on streaming platforms.

DannyLux

DannyLux has captured the hearts of millions since he started uploading his first versions and original songs on TikTok in 2020. At just 19 years old and born in Palm Springs, he has opened for eight concerts of the legendary band Coldplay.

Three years ago, he released singles «24:7» and «Amor Medicinal,» and in 2021, his debut album «Las Dos Caras del Amor» and his first EP, «Love</3.» In the same year, his song «Jugaste y Sufrí» reached number 1 on Billboard’s Latin composers charts, an incredible achievement considering his young age! He recently released his latest album, «DLUX,» a new studio work where he claims to have poured all his feelings.

Kenia OS

Kenia Guadalupe Flores Osuna, better known as Kenia OS, is one of the leading artists in Mexican pop-urban music. She started as a YouTuber in 2015 and signed her first music contract in 2018, eventually joining Sony in Mexico and releasing her debut album, «Cambios de Luna» (2022). Recently, we saw her in the explosive collaboration with rapper Rels B in «Por Dentro,» a sensual and catchy song that showcases Kenia’s innovative and magnetic style.

Milo J

Milo J has revolutionized the urban music scene in 2023, and that’s a fact. After climbing the charts with songs like «Milagrosa» or his collaboration with Argentine trap star Nicki Nicole, «Dispara,» and accumulating over 250 million streams for his global hit «Rara Vez,» the 17-year-old revealed himself as the secret artist behind Bizapop.

This led to the release of the BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 57 by Argentine artists, which turned into a complete EP: «En Dormir Sin Madrid» (2023). Milo is only 17 years old but is poised as one of the promises aiming for even greater global success.

Zecca

Francisco Zecca has emerged as one of the standout producers in the urban genre in 2023, and we are sure he will continue delivering more successes in 2024.

As a composer and mix engineer, at just 22 years old, he became the youngest artist to win a Latin Grammy, receiving three awards for his participation in Shakira’s BZRP Music Session Vol. 53. With a unique ability to create catchy melodies and consistently produce hits, Zecca’s work was evident in other 2023 songs like Emilia and Ludmilla’s big hit «No_Se_Ve.mp3,» as well as a significant part of the Argentine artist’s album «.mp3,» «CALL ME MAYBE» by Duki, and part of his «Antes de Ameri,» and «Asqueroso» by Tiago PZK, in addition to his contributions to various BZRP Music Sessions performed by Quevedo, Arcángel, Rauw Alejandro, Duki, or Villano Antillano, among others.

Joaquina

The Venezuelan artist has caused a sensation by winning the New Artist award at the Latin Grammys in Seville in 2023. Born in Caracas and the daughter of the famous Camila Canabal, Joaquina became interested in music at the young age of four, starting with the violin and later the piano. At 16, she released her first single, «Primer Amor,» and subsequently her EP in 2022, «Los Mejores Años.» Songs like «Rabia» and «Freno» have millions of streams on platforms. Her talent has already captivated artists like Pablo Alborán, Aitana, or Sebastián Yatra, among others.

GALE

Carolina Isabel Colón Juarbe, aka Gale, started in music by uploading covers to YouTube, where her cover of Pedro Capó’s «Que No» stood out. After self-financing some of her projects through crowdfunding and continuing to release songs online, Gale presented her debut album last year, «Lo Que No te Dije,» a 12-song studio work that narrates a breakup and all the emotions that come with it. Nominated as a New Artist at the Latin Grammys in Seville and closely followed by superstars like Shakira or Juanes, Gale’s charisma and talent position her as one of the promises of 2024.
