Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are two of the most renowned actors in the entertainment industry. Their love story began while they were working together on the action movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2004. Back then, Brad Pitt was married to another famous actress, the former star of the famous series FriendsJennifer Aniston. However, the undeniable chemistry between Brad and Angelina ultimately led to Brad Pitt announcing his separation from Aniston in early 2005, coinciding with her filing for divorce.

Despite being considered one of the most stable couples in Hollywood, their romantic journey lasted for 12 years. In 2014, the couple celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Château de Miraval in France. However, their marriage only lasted for two years as they decided to separate in 2016, finalizing their divorce in 2019. In 2021, Pitt was granted joint legal custody of their five younger children, but they still have ongoing legal disputes, notably concerning a shared winery.

The ‘Jolie-Pitt’ Family

According to some sources, the first pictures of ‘Brangelina’ the affectionate nickname given to the couple were released in April 2005 when they were enjoying a beach vacation in Kenya, accompanied by their son Maddox, whom Angelina Jolie had adopted in 2002 in Cambodia.

Later, the couple traveled to Ethiopia, where Angelina adopted her second daughter, Zahara Marley. In December of that same year, Brad Pitt confirmed his intention to legally adopt Angelina’s children, and in January 2006, a California judge approved his request. Consequently, the children’s last names were changed to ‘Jolie-Pitt.’

In May 2006, the Tomb Raider actress gave birth to their first biological child, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, in Namibia, Africa. A year later, they expanded their family by adopting their fourth child, Pax Thien, a Vietnamese boy who was a little over three years old at the time. Finally, in 2008, the couple welcomed twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline, who were born in France.

The Jet Incident

When the famous ‘Brangelina’ couple broke up in 2016, all of their children stayed with their mother. This decision came after reports of an incident on a private jet involving their oldest son, Maddox, and his father. This incident occurred just five days before Angelina Jolie filed for divorce. The seriousness of the situation led to investigations by both the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services. They were looking into allegations of child abuse stemming from the incident.

According to a People source, it was reported that Brad Pitt had been drinking during the incident. The source explained that there was a heated argument between him and Angelina, and unfortunately, a disagreement between the parent and child escalated more than it should have. It was also reported that Maddox stepped in to support Jolie during the dispute.

In the aftermath of the incident, Angelina Jolie informed the authorities about Pitt’s behavior during the flight, describing it as ‘monstrous.’

Pax’s Account of Brad Pitt

On Father’s Day in 2020, Brad Pitt’s son, Pax, shared something noteworthy on his private Instagram account. He posted a story that included a photo of Pitt receiving an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. Alongside the photo, Pax wrote a text where he made certain accusations against his father.

Happy Father’s Day to this world class a*****e!! You time and time and again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person. You have no consideration of empathy towards your 4 youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence. You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you are incapable of doing so.

A source, as reported by The Daily Mail, confirmed that this private account indeed belongs to Pax. The source mentioned, “It’s the account he uses for friends – friends from school mostly. He never says much about his parents, keeps himself to himself, so that was unusual.” Pax also wrote, “You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell. You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want, but the truth will come to light someday. So Happy Father’s Day, you f*****g awful human being!!!
