Rauw Alejandro’s Instagram Reset Following American Tour Cancellation

The Puerto Rican artist has decided to erase almost all traces of his past

Starting anew. Well, almost. Rauw Alejandro has pretty much wiped out his entire musical and personal history from his official Instagram profile, leaving just four images behind. He’s only kept a couple of his most recent posts, despite the ongoing buzz around him. 

While it might seem like he’s gearing up for a fresh phase in his music career, considering how active he’s been, it’s worth noting that Playa Saturno was released just a few months ago in July. It appears more like a personal reboot, where the Puerto Rican artist has decided to erase almost all traces of his past. Perhaps this is something he needed, especially after the recent professional setback of having to cancel his entire Latin American tour. 

Official Statement from his Show Promoter Regarding the Tour Cancellation

The translation would say something like:

“Rauw Alejandro cancels his entire Latin American tour, including his dates in Bogotá and Medellín.

Due to reasons beyond the control of Páramo Presenta and Diomar García Eventos, the performances by the Puerto Rican artist scheduled for October 19th in Medellín and October 21st in Bogotá cannot proceed as planned. This decision is a result of the cancellation of the entire Saturno World Tour in Latin America, stemming from matters related to the artist and factors beyond the control of both production companies. We regret this situation and appreciate the understanding of the audience.

For those who purchased tickets for the Medellín date, you can request a refund by contacting the E Ticket email. Buyers of the Bogotá concert can request a refund by reaching out to TuBoleta customer service.

The refund request, for either of the two dates, will be valid until October 21, 2022.

Now, we can only wait to see what the future holds for 2024 with one of the planet’s most popular artists.”

It’s understandable that Rauw is going through a lot lately, especially after a challenging summer marked by his breakup with the Spanish superstar Rosalía. However, regardless of the challenges the Puerto Rican artist is currently facing, we sincerely hope that he will overcome them and make a triumphant comeback soon.
