The 30th edition of the Billboard Latin Music Awards is finally here! The ceremony celebrates the musical achievements of a wide variety of artists according the Billboard’s weekly charts. It embraces 48 different categories, including Latin pop, regional Mexican, Latin rhythm and tropical music genres. A highly anticipated gala that will take place on October 5 at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida. It will broadcast live on Telemundo , Peacock and on the Spanish network Universo .
This year Peso Pluma leads the nominations: the Mexican corridos tumbados icon has taken this popular subgenre to another level, sweeping the charts all around the world. He accumulates 21 nods from 15 categories, including Artist of the Year , Songwriter of the Year , and Top Latin Album of the Year . His “Ella Baila Sola,” the incredibly viral collab featuring Eslabon Armado , is up for six different coveted awards, including Hot Latin Song of the Year and Global 200 Latin Song of the Year .

Following the “Doble P” are Bad Bunny and the cumbia norteña band Grupo Frontera , with 15 nods each. Benito is competing for Artist of the Year and Tour of the Year , among other awards, while the Mexican group is even up to the Artist of the Year and Global 200 Latin Artist of the Year .
On the other hand, Karol G is, for a second year in a row, the female artist with the highest number of entries of the Billboard’s finalist list . The Colombian diva accumulates 13 nods in 13 different categories, including Artist of the Year , Tour of the Year and Top Latin Album of the Year for her history-making Mañana Será Bonito (2023). Her explosive “TQG” featuring Shakira is competing for five awards, including Hot Latin Song of the Year .
Other top Billboard Latin Music Awards finalists include the 12-time finalist Fuerza Regida , Eslabon Armado with 10 entries, Rauw Alejandro with seven, Rosalía , Bizarrap , Feid , Yng Lvcas with six each, and Manuel Turizo , Natanael Cano and Ivan Cornejo with four.
