Olivia Rodrigo Unveils ‘Guts’ Tracklist & Announces New Single Release Date
Her new album will consist of twelve songs and is set to be released on September 8

Two years after the release of her first album, Sour, the pop star comes back stronger than ever with GUTS, her highly anticipated second studio album, which promises to be a sort of continuation of her debut work.
In June, fans were treated to the first single from the new album, ‘Vampire,’ a pop ballad that reaffirms her position as one of the finest singer-songwriters of Generation Z. In an interview with LOS40, she revealed details of her latest single and future album.

Olivia is set to release her new album on September 8 through Geffen Records.
One of the reasons why people identify so much with Olivia’s songs is –probably– because she fearlessly expresses feelings and emotions that we all experience or have experienced at some point in our lives. Through her music, she gives a voice to the emotions we may often keep hidden or silent about.
This album revolves around the challenges of personal growth and the process of self-discovery in the present phase of my life. It feels like I went through a decade of experiences between the ages of 18 and 20, a time of intense unfamiliarity and transformation. I believe it’s all an inherent part of growing up, and I hope the album reflects that journey» –she revealed on her upcoming drop.
Tracklist & New Single Date
Through her social media, Olivia posted a video where we can see her typewriting the complete tracklist, consisting of twelve songs.
However, right next to Olivia, there’s a post-it note with the words «August 25. Get him back drive. Los Angeles.» With this information, it’s no longer a surprise that the pop star will release the song ‘Get him back,’ which is the eighth track on her album, on Friday, August 25th. Two weeks before the album’s official release.

Although we don’t have a preview of how this new single will sound, the title ‘Get him back’ suggests it could be about rekindling a past relationship, as we already know that Olivia is an expert at expressing the various stages of love in her lyrics.
