«Baby dime la verdad, si es que te olvidaste de ti,» that’s how Bad Bunny latest Jersey club hitWhere She Goes’ starts. And we have to say we didn’t forget about it, because it gets back to the #1 position in our Lista Los40 USA! The Puerto Rican blessed us last month with his first-English-titled song and music video after going public with Kendall Jenner. A drop full of references to the Kardashian sister.

Benito has shown a great versatility when it comes to get out of his comfort zone and try new styles. In this sense, Jersey club is a variant of electronic club music originated in New Jersey in the early 2000s, pioneered by DJ Tameil and other members of Brick Bandits crew, a band inspired by Batimore club’s uptempo combination of house and hip hop. In fact, Jersey club has been described as a «fast and aggressive dance music», according to Billboard, in relation with it hard-hitting sounds and extensively chopped samples.

From this paradigm, Bad Bunny delivered a great result based on a remix of rap and R&B that keeps his own essence in a different register. The multifaceted artist has also ventured into regional Mexican music, taking his collaboration with Grupo Frontera, ‘1x100to’, to the top of the charts.

The Puerto Rican has earned the top spot in a very tightly contested podium occupied by Mexican corridos tumbados icon Peso Pluma, who mantains the second and third position with his BZRP Music Session #55 ft. Argentine star producer Bizarrap and the viral Ella Baila Sola featuring Eslabón Armado.

‘El Cielo’ by Sky Rompiendo, Myke Towers & Feid Enters to Lista Los40 USA

The captivating ‘El Cielo’ of Sky Rompiendo, Myke Towers and Feid makes the one and only entrance in our Lista Los40 USA this week. And we have to say that it’s hard not to be charmed by two of the most seductive artists in the urban genre when it comes to sing about attraction and perreo. In this potential summer hit, both hitmakers trade verses talking about the feeling of desire and sensuality before getting involved with their crush.

And you? Are you ready to enter the summer perreo season to the sound of our Lista Los40?
