Rapper Lil Nas X became the center of attention after several videos of him walking through Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles went viral. He was spotted wearing only white underwear and cowboy boots, moving erratically and mumbling incoherent phrases about being “on the way to a party.” The incident reportedly happened around 5:00 a.m.

Witnesses also claimed he was wearing a traffic cone on his head, raising further concern about his mental state. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Lil Nas X was arrested and later taken to a medical facility for what’s believed to be a narcotics overdose, Billboard reports.

Authorities were called by alarmed neighbors, and when officers arrived, they found the rapper in a visibly altered state. Sources say that when police tried to intervene, he became aggressive, which led to his arrest on charges of assaulting an officer. However, before being transferred to Valley Jail in Van Nuys, paramedics determined he might be overdosing and rushed him to a hospital for emergency treatment.

Not His First Hospitalization

This marks the second time Lil Nas X has been hospitalized in less than six months. Back in April, he revealed on social media that he had temporarily lost control of the right side of his face due to partial facial paralysis. At the time, he tried to ease his fans’ worries with humor, reassuring them he was doing fine.

So far, neither his reps nor his family have released an official statement on his current condition. There’s also no confirmation about the substance involved in the alleged overdose, the exact medical diagnosis, or any updates regarding the assault charges against him.
