On July 11, 2025, Justin Bieber made a comeback with the surprise release of his seventh album, Swag, four years after Justice (2021). Featuring collaborations (Gunna, Sexyy Red, Cash Cobain…) and lyrics addressing his fatherhood, mental health, and family life, the album has been described as “darker, more vulnerable, and rawer.”

We had already seen some hints thanks to the artist’s successive posts, including photos from the studio. And yes, it seems that, in the end, the long-awaited wish of his millions of fans has come true, despite going through numerous moments of mental health struggles and personal difficulties, which the artist himself has shared on his social media.

And along with the album, rumors of a new tour after postponing his Justice World Tour are gaining strength again.

Is There a Tour? Here’s What We Know

Although some media speculated that Bieber would announce a new tour in 2025 — even suggesting it would be called «the Justice Tour 2025» and would cover North America, Europe, and Asia with more than 50 stadium dates (information never confirmed by any official source) — these rumors were fueled by reports indicating he was not in his best financial shape and had to reportedly sell his catalog.

This has not been the case, and it seems it will not be after the release of Swag. It is still unknown whether the artist will announce a new tour, but his next steps are expected to follow the path of his new studio work, which tries to show a more mature artistic evolution.

As mentioned earlier, it was Bieber himself who had to cancel part of his Justice World Tour in 2022 due to health issues. Specifically, he explained he was dealing with a condition called Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which affects the facial nerves and caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face, along with muscle weakness. This prevented him from singing and performing normally.

Additionally, throughout his career, Bieber has also mentioned on several occasions that he has suffered mental health problems, including anxiety and depression, which have affected his ability to maintain long and stable tours.

But this issue goes beyond Bieber’s case and relates to the inevitable logistical, physical, and emotional challenges of sustaining an international tour as a superstar. This is something Miley Cyrus has highlighted multiple times and is, in fact, the main reason why she has not embarked on tours of this scale.

The Challenges Behind a New Tour

A tour of this magnitude involves facing multiple challenges: constant travel, time zone changes, and irregular schedules cause exhaustion and sleep disturbances. Repeated vocal strain without rest can damage the vocal cords, while the intense routine of rehearsals and performances increases the risk of muscle and joint injuries. Added to this is social isolation due to prolonged distance from family and friends, and the financial pressure involved in organizing a tour, all of which can affect the artist’s emotional well-being.

On the other hand, fame from childhood also brings significant consequences — something Bieber has noted many times. Young artists often face constant pressure, lack of privacy, and, in some cases, emotional or physical abuse, which can lead to disorders like anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress. Moreover, not all receive fair compensation, and the absence of a strong emotional support system makes handling these pressures harder.

Historical experience and the music industry archive show how the combination of these factors can lead to deep emotional burnout, difficulties maintaining stable personal relationships, and, in some cases, the development of addictions as coping mechanisms for stress. For this reason, it is essential that the music industry promotes and facilitates psychological support and comprehensive care for artists to protect their mental and physical health throughout their careers.

In any case, fans and the rest of the world will eagerly await more news from Bieber (after all, with the accelerated pace of music consumption, everyone expects constant updates), and any forward move will be applauded by them. However, the need for artists to prioritize their physical and emotional well-being should not be overlooked.
