Ángela Aguilar and Belinda’s Long-Awaited Encounter

The singers attended Premio Lo Nuestro, and Nodal's wife seemed to want to avoid Beli

Ángela Aguilar has been making headlines ever since rumors started about a possible relationship with Christian Nodal—rumors that they later confirmed. Shortly after, they took things a step further and got married in mid-2024. However, what really set social media on fire, though, was the fact that Nodal started dating Ángela just shortly after announcing his breakup with Cazzu, the mother of his daughter.

Adding to the drama, just before all of this unfolded, Belinda, one of Nodal’s most well-known exes, released her song ‘Cactus.’ The lyrics talk about a past relationship and suggest that the other person was partly responsible for how things ended. It’s widely believed that the song was directed at Nodal, putting him under public scrutiny even before his split with Cazzu and his quick marriage to Ángela.

Things get even more intertwined when looking back at Nodal’s duet with Ángela, ‘Dime Cómo Quieres,’ which was released while he was still with Belinda. At the time, there were rumors that Belinda was jealous of Ángela. Some even claim that she kept Ángela at a distance in a way that Cazzu later did not.

With everything that’s happened, one of the most anticipated moments of the night was the possible encounter between them. On the red carpet, the spotlight was on Ángela’s dramatic transformation. She stunned in a sleek, form-fitting cutout dress and surprised many by debuting long hair, a big change from her usual short style. Despite all the speculation, she and Belinda never crossed paths.

Later in the evening, things took an interesting turn during Belinda’s performance with Tito Double P. Just as she was about to go on stage, Ángela and her brother, Leonardo Aguilar, stood up and quickly left the area. Seemingly avoiding the moment entirely.

Given the situation, users were quick to react. So far, none of those involved have addressed it.
