Who is Justin Saliman? Sofía Vergara’s Latest Love Interest

Sofía Vergara is one of the Latina and Hollywood actresses who will always be on our radar. Towards the end of 2023, she starred in Griselda, a series that also featured singer Karol G. However, it hasn’t all been smooth sailing for the Colombian star. Last year, she announced her divorce from Joe Manganiello, her husband of seven years. One of the reasons behind the split was their different views on having children. While Joe wanted kids, Sofía, who already has a son, felt she was not ready to be a mother again at her age. 

During an interview with You Magazine (DailyMail), Sofía opened up about love and confessed that she was open to finding love again, but not through dating apps, as she is very bad with technology. It is worth noting that since then, she had already been seen with Justin Saliman, although neither of them had openly spoken about a relationship. 

Later, during an appearance on the Spanish television show ‘El Hormiguero,’ Vergara humorously discussed the qualities she’s looking for in a partner now that she’s single again: “He should be around my age, have kids, be attractive, but he doesn’t have to be a Hollywood heartthrob.” She also stressed the importance of financial compatibility. And it appears she has found someone who fits the bill: Justin Saliman.

How Was Love Confessed? 

As we mentioned earlier, Saliman and Vergara had already been seen together. In fact, they were first spotted together in October 2023, just three months after she announced her divorce. Since then, they’ve been seen together several times, but it wasn’t until Sofía openly expressed her feelings for him that their relationship became public. 

Recently, the actress shared a photo on her Instagram story of herself in bed, recovering from knee surgery she had. In the picture, we see Justin Saliman in a doctor’s gown, smiling at her. What caught everyone’s attention in all of this is that she wrote a message of thanks in which she said, “If you ever get a mayor knee surgery, make sure u get a handsome doctor who will sleep with you that night. Love you Dr. Justin Saliman.”

But, Who is Justin Saliman?

According to several sources like People, Page Six and Infoabe, Saliman is an orthopedic surgeon who’s highly regarded for his expertise in arthroscopic surgery and treating shoulder, hip, and knee injuries to help preserve joints. 

Furthermore, he has dedicated his career to improving surgical techniques to offer less invasive treatments to his patients and is the founder of a medical company specializing in meniscus repair. He is a graduate of the School of Medicine at the University of Stanford in Colorado and the University of California in San Diego. 

Justin Saliman is also familiar in Hollywood circles. He was previously married to actress Bree Turner for ten years before their separation in 2018. They have two children together.
