December is a month when many of us reflect on the past year. The year-end summaries from streaming platforms like Apple Music and Spotify Wrapped allow us to see how our 2024 went in music.

When it comes to the most-streamed artist globally in 2024, there were no surprises. Taylor Swift has remained at the number one spot, further strengthened by the release of her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. Her hit «Cruel Summer» has been the most-streamed, ranking at #9 on the global chart of most-streamed songs.

In second place is The Weeknd, who, despite having silver, is crowned as the most-streamed male artist in the world. Starboy (2016) continues to be one of the most-streamed albums worldwide in 2024.

But hey, there’s more than one reason to celebrate our orgullo latino. In the #3 spot is none other than Bad Bunny, who remains the most-streamed Latin artist globally. With nearly 65 million listeners on the platform, the Puerto Rican artist continues to lead the new generation of reggaeton stars.

Luckily, we also find two other major figures of Latin music in the Global Top 10 Most-Streamed Artists. On one hand, Peso Pluma, who has taken Mexican music to new heights with Génesis (2023) and Éxodo (2024), ranking at #7.

On the other hand, we have Colombian artist Feid, also one of the most-streamed Latin artists worldwide this past year, in the #10 spot, who recently won his first Latin Grammy.
