2025 is almost over, and here at LOS40 USA we know this time of year hits a little nostalgic. Earlier this year, we released a ranking of the most influential Latin artists based on their social media impact. But now, we’re zooming in on what really matters: the music itself. So, who are the most-streamed artists as we wrap up 2025?
For this list, we focused only on Spotify streams. And interestingly, changing the metric completely reshaped the ranking. The results showcase a wave led mostly by the new generation of reggaetón stars, while still leaving space for icons like Shakira and Daddy Yankee. Take a look.
Bad Bunny makes history… again. The Puerto Rican artist keeps pushing Latin music to new heights. He closes 2025 as the most-streamed artist in the world on Spotify—for the fourth time—with more than 19.8 billion streams. After topping the global charts in 2020, 2021, and 2022, this new milestone officially makes him the first artist ever to earn four global titles.

His latest album, DeBÍ Tirar Más Fotos, also dominated the year, becoming the most-streamed album worldwide. After two years of Taylor Swift holding the crown, Bad Bunny takes back the No. 1 spot, once again proving the unstoppable force of Spanish-language music on a global scale.
However, the global rise of Latin music isn’t slowing down anytime soon. And while Bad Bunny is leading the charge, he’s far from the only one dominating worldwide charts. Here are the other major names shaping 2025.
Shakira takes the lead with 67.6 million monthly listeners, proving once again that her influence has stayed solid for more than three decades. Her classics keep growing at an insane pace: ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ continues adding massive numbers, while ‘TQG’ and her Bizarrap session remain among the most-played Latin tracks globally.

Just behind her is another Colombian artist who has shaped reggaetón and continues to be one of the driving forces behind the global rise of the urban genre: J Balvin. He currently has 65.8 million monthly listeners. Hits like ‘UN DÍA (ONE DAY),’ ‘Mi Gente,’ and ‘Qué Más Pues?’ highlight his role as one of the key architects of modern reggaetón.
On the other hand, Daddy Yankee remains unstoppable despite his retirement announcement. He pulls in 62.6 million monthly listeners. While ‘Gasolina’ is still a worldwide anthem, tracks like ‘Despacito,’ ‘Con Calma,’ and ‘China’ keep him permanently present on playlists around the world.

Next is Rauw Alejandro, with 50.6 million monthly listeners, boosted by the impact of Cosa Nuestra and his international collaborations. His mix of futuristic pop and urban rhythms cements him as one of the standout voices of the new generation.
Following him is Karol G, reaching 48.3 million monthly listeners. The global success of Mañana Será Bonito and Bichota Season keeps her at the top, backed by major hits like ‘Si antes te hubiera conocido’, ‘Amargura’, ‘MAMII,’ and ‘TQG’ which continue to affirm her status as a global symbol of Latin empowerment.

With 47.7 million monthly listeners, Ozuna continues to prove his relevance in the urban scene. Songs like ‘Se Preparó,’ ‘Dile Que Tú Me Quieres,’ and ‘El Farsante’ remain essentials in his global catalog and keep his numbers consistently high.
With 44.4 million monthly listeners, Camila Cabello stands strong as one of the leading female voices in Latin pop. Hits like ‘Señorita’ and ‘Havana’ have cemented her international impact, earning massive streams that place her alongside the biggest stars in the genre.
Further down the list is Maluma, with 42.1 million monthly listeners. Tracks like ‘Borró Cassette,’ ‘Según Quién,’ and ‘Cuatro Babys’ keep his global presence alive and reinforce his status as one of the most versatile artists in urban pop.

Next is Peso Pluma, pulling in 39.8 million monthly listeners. The Mexican artist has pushed corridos tumbados to new heights, collaborating across genres and bringing regional music into the global spotlight.
With 37.3 million monthly listeners, Anuel AA remains a key figure in Latin trap and reggaetón—controversies aside. Songs like ‘Yogurcito Remix,’ ‘Sola,’ ‘Amanece,’ and ‘Hasta Que Dios Diga’ continue to fuel his relevance and secure his strong presence across digital platforms.

Myke Towers follows, boasting 36 million monthly listeners. The viral impact of ‘LALALA,’ ‘LA FALDA’ and the momentum of his album LYKE MIIKE have fueled his rapid rise in the urban music scene.
Finally, Feid rounds out the top with 35.7 million monthly listeners. Tracks like ‘Classy 101’ with Young Miko, ‘Hey Mor,’ and ‘Perro Negro’ continue to push his popularity forward, solidifying him as one of the most influential voices in reggaetón today.
