It’s official! Rosalía is back. The Spanish star returned to music this past August with her collaboration on ‘New Woman’ alongside Blackpink star LISA.

Although the song belongs to her Thai friend, the Catalan diva is fully involved in promoting it. In fact, she has shared all kinds of content on social media to promote the song, from a dance trend to a conversation in Spanish with LISA.

Now, after this release, many are wondering when she’ll drop a track from her new project. It seems we won’t have to wait long. As Rosalía mentioned in her latest interview with fashion magazine Highsnobiety, she is currently in the creative process.

When asked by the journalist about her new album, the artist responded:

«It’s been a process. I’ve changed a lot, but at the same time, I’m still wrapping my head around the same things. It’s like I still have the same questions and the same desire to answer them. I still have the same love for the past and the same curiosity for the future».

Her response is somewhat ambiguous, but it once again shows that she is a perfectionist at heart. As she confirms, she has been putting a lot of thought into her fourth studio album.

The singer also recalled why she named her second studio album Los Ángeles. Over time, she finds it amusing that the name had to do with her future, as she now lives in the City of Stars: «I named my first album Los Ángeles because conceptually, it was linked to death… but also as a call to the future—it had to come!»

Proud of Her Past

One of the most striking moments of the interview is when the journalist asked about her style as a teenager. The artist proudly embraced her roots:

I’d use the term choni, which, according to Webster’s, means an attempt to look elegant, but it mostly ends up looking tacky. I love having fun and experimenting with clothes. Lately, I am really into [graphic] T-shirts that make me laugh.»

We’ll have to wait to learn more details about Rosalía’s new project. But we’re sure it’s going to make waves again. Hopefully, we’ll hear more about this work soon.
