Chiara Ferragni and her ex-husband, rapper Fedez, are back in the headlines again. From March to June, the former couple traded subtle jabs on social media, both seemingly trying to get under the other’s skin. But this time, the issue isn’t between them—they actually share a common ‘problem.’

So, who is it? The focus is on Roman rapper Tony Effe, who used to be good friends with Fedez. The latter released a song where he mocked Tony, accusing him of being racist, a drug addict, and fake. Titled ‘The Difficult Childhood of a Wealthy Person’ (L’infanzia difficile di un benestante), also called out the fact that Tony was trying to reach out to Chiara while they were still close friends. “You were texting my wife while hugging me; men like you, I call traitors.”

In response, Effe released the track ‘Chiara’ just a few hours later, which sparked a lot of criticism from his followers. In the song, he accuses Fedez of abandoning his wife after the Pandoro scandal, even though she stood by him during his illness.

But the situation escalated when Effe mentioned Chiara and Fedez’s children, Leone and Vittoria, saying: “You had kids just to post them online; who knows what they’ll think when they grow up. You’re disgusting, a disgrace.”

Naturally, Fedez didn’t take this well, and neither did Chiara. She quickly responded with a message on her Instagram Stories: “Do what you want, but leave me and my kids out of it.” Fedez also replied, but in a more direct tone: “Little gangsta, didn’t they teach you on the street that kids are off-limits?” he wrote, adding, “Poor in rap, poor in values.”
