On December 15th, the results of his autopsy were released, stating that the cause of death for the 54-year-old actor was the acute effects of ketamine. Now, details about Perry’s final wishes, as outlined in his will, have emerged.
The news outlet People has obtained access to this document, revealing that the actor signed it in 2009 and made no further changes. According to the will, most of Perry’s belongings are to be placed in a trust associated with a prominent Hollywood figure, specifically referred to as the Alvy Singer Living Trust. Additionally, it identifies the individuals responsible for managing his estate.
Lisa Ferguson and Robin Ruzan have been appointed as the executors entrusted with overseeing the trust, which is valued at nearly one million dollars and was established by the actor. The beneficiaries named in the will include his parents, John Perry and Suzanne Morrison, his sister, Caitlin Morrison, and his former partner, Rachel Dunn.
However, there are three notable things. Firstly, he left out his other four siblings. Additionally, he specified that if he had children, they wouldn’t get any of his stuff. But, Matthew didn’t end up having kids.
The biggest surprise to the media was that Rachel Dunn was named as one of the beneficiaries. They dated back in 2003 but split in 2006. So, Perry decided to include his ex in his will three years after they broke up.
