LOS40 USA Presents ‘W Gold Cup: Songs for Gold’ – Your Favorite Players’ Favorite Music

In this special program, we blend the thrilling sport of soccer with the music that the players listen to

The CONCACAF W Gold Cup stands as one of the highly anticipated international tournaments in women’s soccer, showcasing teams from CONCACAF member associations. This includes the women’s national teams representing North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.

In the context of this celebration aimed at supporting and championing the strength of women’s soccer on an international level, LOS40 USA has also wanted to contribute. We understand that both this sport and our main focus, music, have the power to unite millions of people for a common purpose.

That’s why we have taken advantage of the competition to get to know some of our soccer stars better, such as María Sánchez from the Mexican national team, Trinity Rodman from the United States, and Débora Cristiane de Oliveira (aka Debinha) from the Brazilian national team. With this purpose in mind, in our special program ‘W Gold Cup: Songs for Gold’ with Pame Voguel and Iñaki Alvarez, we have asked our players for details about the type of artists and music they listen to, revealing some insights into how they prepare for their matches.

Currently, all Sánchez, Rodman and Debinha are on the verge of making their debut in the semifinals on March 7th, vying for a direct ticket to the final on March 10th.

Music not only adds rhythm and excitement to sports but can also be a powerful source of inspiration and motivation. Furthermore, it possesses the incredible ability to bring together people from different cultures and countries, fostering a shared interest that transcends barriers and unites hearts. And yes, the music our sports stars listen to has a lot to do with the incredible success that Latin music has experienced in the past year. Just stay tuned to learn some interesting facts about the hits they enjoy!
