Peso Pluma and Junior H have just released a new song, titled «A Tu Manera» (Your Way). This isn’t the first time the Mexicans have collaborated on a song together, but it’s certainly stirring up a lot of talk. Many people claim the song is dedicated to Peso Pluma’s now–ex-girlfriend, Nicki Nicole, following the viralization of a video showing the singer with another woman. 

Nicki was the one who officially announced their split on social media. However, la ‘Doble P’ has chosen to remain silent about the matter, leading some to speculate that this song is his way of breaking that silence. But is it really dedicated to her?  

«A Tu Manera» Meaning

No doubt, the song is all about heartbreak and feeling shattered, about loving someone and missing them deeply. However, right from the start, it’s noted that the relationship was not intended to be long-term; it was acknowledged as temporary, done ‘your way,’ as per the preferences of the beloved. 

What’s intriguing is that Nicki Nicole mentioned in an interview that they weren’t officially a couple, and there weren’t any ‘laws’ that bound them together (much like in the beginning of the song), yet they spent a lot of time together. She also referred to Peso Pluma as a ‘dog’, and this very sentiment is echoed in the song: “If a dog falls in love, you see how easily he’s tamed.”

There are other signs that may point to the Argentine trap artis, like the line ‘Who else has that tattoo?’ when Peso Pluma and she share similar tattoos. Another clue might be the mention of ‘I always fall for those lips,’ especially since Nicki is known for her distinctively attractive lips. The timing of the song’s release, shortly after their breakup, might just be another coincidence. But, what do you think?
