The countdown is on for the Billboard Music Awards ceremony. Everything is nearly set for one of the biggest music celebrations in the U.S., courtesy of the iconic music magazine, which has just announced two new additions to its lineup of performers: Shaboozey and Fuerza Régida.
Shaboozey will take the stage at the Marriott Bonvoy in West Hollywood in Los Angeles to celebrate with the audience the worldwide success of his hit A Bar Song (Tipsy). The song has matched the all-time record on American charts.
Shaboozey’s country anthem has now spent 19 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, a feat previously achieved only by Old Town Road by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus. The song is just one week away from breaking the record entirely. His performance at the Billboard Music Awards is sure to give him the final push to make 2024 an unforgettable year.

Fuerza Régida needs little introduction. The emerging Mexican talent has been a standout in recent years, captivating audiences and elevating the popularity of Mexican music within the U.S. Latino community.
Their names join an already stellar lineup of international acts, including SEVENTEEN, Teddy Swims, Tyla, Coldplay, Jelly Roll, Megan Moroney, and Stray Kids. Whether live on stage or through remote performances, the night promises to deliver unforgettable live music moments.
This year, Zach Bryan, Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, and Sabrina Carpenter lead the nominations. The winners will be revealed on Thursday, December 12.
In the Latin artist categories, notable mentions include Bad Bunny with six nominations and Karol G with five. Both are contenders for Top Latin Artist alongside Fuerza Régida, Junior H, and Peso Pluma.
Mark your calendars for what promises to be a night of music and celebration!
