The second edition of the Arre Festival in 2024 in Mexico City delivered an impressive lineup and unforgettable surprises that left a lasting impression. Building on the success of its first year, which featured big names like Natanael Cano, Peso Pluma, and La Arrolladora Banda El Limón, this year’s festival at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez didn’t disappoint.

Arre offered a diverse mix of regional Mexican genres and performances that appealed to a wide audience. Attendees were treated to a weekend of non-stop music, with both up-and-coming and well-known artists sharing the stage. From electrifying performances by regional Mexican acts to surprise guest appearances and epic collaborations, the festival truly had something for everyone.

Day 1

The day started off with great energy, with standout performances by Octavio Cuadras, Los Esquivel, and Carolina Ross. Los Cardenales de Nuevo León celebrated Don Chayo’s birthday, while El Komander made a strong comeback with his signature corridos alterados. Tito Double P, building on his success with Natanael Cano, also delivered a standout performance.

One of the biggest surprises of the first day was Los Tigres del Norte. They put on an epic two-hour show, playing their classic hits and creating one of the festival’s most unforgettable moments. Beli-Belika also surprised everyone with her entry into regional Mexican music, performing hits like ‘300 Noches’ and ‘La Mala,’ and even giving her iconic ‘Sapito’ covered in a tumbado twist.

Day 2

The second day was just as exciting. Artists like Flor de Toloache, Kakalo, and Banda Recoditos had everyone up and dancing. Gerardo Ortiz and Sonora Santanera also took the stage, but the night truly belonged to Junior H. With hits like ‘El Hijo Mayor’ and ‘El Azul,’ Junior H wrapped up the festival in style, solidifying his status as one of Mexico’s most popular artists.
