Today, social media has been buzzing with the main revelations of Spotify Wrapped 2023, the popular compilation of the streaming platform that gives us a very accurate idea of listening trends and who the most listened-to artists of 2023 have been. Additionally, this year, you can be surprised with a video from your favorite artist!

This year has been marked by the return of major female pop artists who have brought us massive and highly anticipated events such as Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour, Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour, and Madonna’s Celebration Tour, among others. A trend that we have also noticed among Latin artists, with strong emerging generations represented by performers like María Becerra, Emilia, TINI, Danna Paola, or Kenia OS, as well as in the more urban scene with Karol G, Young Miko, and Nicki Nicole, among others.

Other notable trends in 2023 include the success of the Eurovision Song Contest, Mexican music, and even classical Indian instrumental music, which has grown by 500% in the last two years. It is also worth mentioning the influence of Afrobeats, with figures like Rema, or Mandopop, a genre within Chinese pop.
