Peso Pluma has become one of the most listened-to artists in the world. His music has positioned him as a reference in regional Mexican music and, above all, in corridos tumbados (a fusion of corridos and trap). Without a doubt, the ‘Doble P’ is an international phenomenon.

Now, his fans are in luck following the release of his highly long-awaited studio album, ‘Génesis,‘ where he demonstrates that, in addition to corridos, he also explores other musical styles. The album consists of 14 tracks, including collaborations with Natanael Cano, Eladio Carrión, Junior H, Jasiel Núñez and more.

The focus track is ‘Luna,’ a song he presents with Junior H, which talks about longing for a past love, a story that many can relate to. Other songs that we have previously heard are ’77’ with Eladio Carrión and ‘Rosa Pastel’ with Jasiel Núñez, which gave us a glimpse that ‘Génesis’ was not going to be just another album in the Mexican artist’s career.

The album is produced by Ernesto Fernández, Ivan Leal Reyes Parka, Peso Pluma himself and George Prajin. Along with the aforementioned collaborations, they also delight us with the artist’s solo tracks, including the ballad ‘Bye’ and the avant-garde ‘Rubicón.’

‘Génesis’ arrives at one of the artist’s best professional moments. He continues to break records, as evidenced by his recent achievement of being the first artist to dominate both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global 200 Excl. U.S. charts simultaneously. He accomplished this with his songElla Baila Sola,’ featuring Eslabón Armado, and his BZRP Music Session #55 with Bizarrap.

The ‘Doble P’ Tour in the U.S.

The Mexican artist is currently touring the United States in a 15-date concert run, where he will perform not only his well-known songs but also the new ones from this latest release. So, if you’re planning to attend one of these concerts, hurry up and learn the lyrics to fully enjoy the experience.

And you, how did you discover Peso Pluma? Would you like him to visit Spain soon? Have you already listened to ‘Génesis’?
