Ozuna Unveils New Collab with a Top Artist in LOS40

The Puerto Rican has recently dropped his Afro EP and talked exclusively to us about his new 'junte'

Ozuna, also known as “el negrito de ojo claro”, made a big splash in the music scene after collaborating on the single «La ocasión» with De la Ghetto, Arcángel, and Anuel AA by DJ Luian and Mambo Kingz. The song rocked the charts, reaching number twenty-two on the Hot Latin Songs list, and marked the beginning of his skyrocketing musical career. 

His singles «Si tu marido no te quiere» and «En la intimidad» were both smashing hits, climbing their way into the top thirty on the charts. This led to his well-deserved nomination «Debut of the Year» category at the 2017 Billboard Latin Music Awards. He’s also one of the Latin artists with the highest sales since the beginning of his career, and videos on YouTube have surpassed billions of views on YouTube. 

In his latest EP titled «Afro», he takes a different musical direction by blending the vibrant Afrobeat rhythm with his signature Caribbean urban sound. Consisting of seven captivating songs, this project proves his versatility and artistic growth.

During his interview with LOS40 Urban, he revealed that while he hasn’t abandoned reggaeton, he aimed to create a more diverse and eclectic project. By infusing elements of Afro, R&B, and dancehall, he has crafted a refreshing and dynamic musical experience.
