Measuring the success of a celebrity is complicated. However, there are certain parameters that give us indications of it. For example, popularity can be measured or approximated by the number of followers on social media.

In the case of artists’ tours, many of them speak for themselves, such as Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour, which has been on everyone’s lips internationally, reaching the point of not only selling out tickets for all of her concerts but also for The Eras Tour Concert Film, which was announced just yesterday!

Recently, Beyoncé’s The Renaissance Tour, has become one of the highest-grossing tours in history. Its impact has been so significant that it has even had an important economic effect. But Beyoncé‘s influence is such that this past August 30, she was made an honorary mayor for the day when she visited Santa Clara, California.

Latin Artists with the Most Lucrative Tours of All Time

This is a brief summary of the top 10 Latin artists who have generated the highest live revenue, spanning stars from the 90s, 2000s, 2010s, and the current decade, according to Billboard Boxscore.

Generally, the tours that have generated the highest economic gains are of genres like pop, classic rock, and even country. However, the Latin genre, Mexican music, and reggaeton are demonstrating their global power. Latin artists are increasingly raising the music of their countries, showing that they have come to stay.

Before we dive into the top 10, let’s give a shout-out to some artists who almost made it to the very top, up to number 20. We’ve got a super talented Colombian, Karol G, at number 19. And even though she isn’t leading the pack right now, her music career is soaring, and it’s safe to say she’ll soon be a frontrunner on this list.

Maluma, a crowd favorite these days, stands strong at number 18. If you’re into heart-touching ballads, Marco Antonio Solís holds the 17 spot. And of course, the iconic Shakira takes the 16 position. Chayanne, the darling of Latin moms, grabs the 15 spot. As for the king of Bachata, Romeo Santos, he claims the 14 spot.

In the realm of Mexican music, Vicente Fernandez and Grupo Firme secure their places at 13 and 12, respectively. And just narrowly missing the top 10, we have the sensation of the 2010s, Pitbull, making his mark at number 11.
