Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour is about to get underway, starting on May 10 at the Friends Arena in Stockholm.
This is her first concert run since The Formation World Tour of 2016 and could become the most successful tour of all time!
Forbes has made an exhaustive forecast of the income that Queen Bey’s concerts will generate, assuring that the total could exceed 2,000 million dollars. In this happens, Bey will surpass Taylor Swift ‘Eras’ by $500 million.
Of that amount, more than half would come from ticket sales. In an initial estimate and calculating the average price of tickets and the high demand for them that guarantees a full house in all her shows, Beyoncé could collect 1.5 billion dollars only in box office.
To all this we should add merchandising sales, which you can find exclusively in her concerts. Income from sponsors and the economic impact that her live shows will have on her profits from her songs’ streamings would complete the multi-million dollar figure of her income.
However, it’s important to note that, as with previous tours, Beyoncé will support several marginalized communities with grant opportunities in the cities she will perform in with her BeyGood Foundation. She will also donate scholarships worth $1 million to students from several universities in the cities along the tour.
Beyoncé will be touring the stages of different parts of our continent from May 5 to June 27, with more that 30 dates in the U.S, including cities like Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, Seattle, Houston and New Orleans, among others.
In all of them, Queen B promises a show to live up to the expectations of millions of attendees. Fans who will give their all to the rhythm of the most dance songs that she has presented with her latest album Renaissance.
