Someone who’s been a big part of Wheeler’s journey in this new phase is his wife, Zhamira Zambrano, who appears in the music videos released alongside the album. Wheeler has talked about her and her contributions to his new work on LOS40 Urban. “TRAPPii is our baby. It’s the album you need to hear if you want to see how I’ve evolved,” he explains. “Having my wife involved in my project is the best thing ever. She never said ‘no,’ even when she wasn’t comfortable with some things she had to do,” he adds.
The remix of «Pacto» with Anuel AA, Hades66, Bryant Myers, and Dei V came about through TikTok. Our main character says that when he heard the version they created using Artificial Intelligence, it just clicked. He reached out to the Puerto Rican rapper, and he was more than willing to collaborate on this new track. And that’s how it all came together.

Jay Wheeler attended the LOS40 Music Awards Santander 2023 gala. He had a great time at our awards ceremony held on November 3rd at Madrid’s WiZink Center, where he also put on an impressive performance a few days later.
